Beers on tap (updated 1/6/2026)

Pale beers

Beers that are lighter in color, not in flavor

Summer Wheatley Hefeweizen

5.0% ABV

A German Hefeweizen beer, brewed with wheat and pilsner grain.  This beer has notes of banana and clove that come from the hefeweizen yeast.

Highway to Helles Lager

5.5% ABV

A classic German lager, this crisp beer is brewed with premium pilsner grain and German hops and yeast

Beach Body Light Lager

4.4% ABV

An American Light Lager that's brewed with premium pilsner grain and toasted rice with just a little hop bitterness

Bombastic Birdie Beans Coffee Vanilla Blonde Ale

5.0% ABV

A cult favorite here at Audacious and newly back on tap, this beer is a must have for coffee lovers.  It's a blonde ale, so much more like a pale lager than your typical coffee beer.

Tread Lightly Belgian Tripel

9.1% ABV

A traditional Belgian style beer made with Trappist yeast and Belgian candi sugar, this beer is deceptively easy to drink for a strong beer.

Sours and Seltzer

Tart and fruity

Soursop Sour

6.5% ABV

If I pineapple, banana and a papaya all walked into a bar...well you'd get a soursop.  This tropical fruit is also known as guanabana and we put more than the usual amount of fruit in this amped up sour

Snow Miser Winter Sour

5.5% ABV

A seasonal sour made with Plum, Orange, Cranberry and a touch of lactose that adds a little sweetness to the tart flavors.

Audacious Hard Seltzer

4.2% ABV

We make our own hard seltzer right here in Falls Church.  You can get a variety of flavors including mango, black cherry and tropical as well as other guest flavors

Hoppy Beers

IPAs and pale ales

Thirsty Work IPA

6.9% ABV

A New England style IPA, made with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado hops, this dry hopped IPA has been our most popular beer since the beginning

Easy Work IPA

4.8% ABV

Thirsty Work's little brother.  A session IPA made with a similar recipe to Thirsty Work,  it still has the same tropical hop notes but with a lower ABV and hoppiness

Lord Humungus IPA

10.1% ABV

Some call it an imperial IPA, others an American Barleywine.  But make no mistake, whatever you call it, the Humungus packs a malty, hoppy punch.

Conviction IPA

7.2% ABV

Our West Coast IPA, this one is made with mostly Centennial hops and has a stronger more resinous hop bitterness that the East Coast IPAs

Bifrost IPA

5.5% ABV

Our experimental IPA.  Each time we make it, we use different hops with the same base IPA recipe.  This is our third iteration, made with Superdelic and Simcoe hops

Darker Beers

Stouts, Porters and brown ales and lagers

Baron von Reinoehl Dunkelweizen

6.5% ABV

Like a hefeweizen but made with dark wheat, this beer has all the tangy wheat flavor, but also some roasty and bready notes

Westminster Bridge ESB

5.8% ABV

A perennial favorite, this pub ale is made with 4 different grains, 5 different English hops and yeast from a famous English brewery.  Served on nitro which gives it an extra rich creamy mouthfeel

Campfire Sweet Stout

7.6% ABV

This stout style is made with lactose, which does not get eaten by the yeast, leaving a sweet flavor to balance the stouts roast and coffee flavors. We added chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker for s'more dessert flavor

Admiration Oatmeal Stout

5.3% ABV

Made with a rich blend of dark grains and oats, this smooth,  roasty stout is served on nitro for a classic pub stout feel.

Black Forest Imperial Stout

14.9% ABV

Our biggest beer (to date) is made with a huge amount of rich premium barley, belgian candi sugar and 2 kinds of cherries for a dangerously decadent stout.

Winter Lager

5.3% ABV

A Munich Dunkel style beer, it drinks a lot like our Oktoberfest Marzen but with a slightly toastier darkness.  Very easy to sit back with 2 or 3 pints on a chilly afternoon.

Beers that are gone for now, but will return

Pale Beers (not every returning beer is listed here)

Misty Mountain Maibock Lager 7.1%

Also known as a Helles Bock, this is a stronger, hoppier version of a Helles Lager

Oktoberfest Lager 5.5%

A German Marzen style beer.  Amber and malty, with a classic Bavarian flavor profile

Lucid Dream Pumpkin Cream Ale 5.8%

A seasonal favorite, our cream ale is a lightly amber version of an ale, with added pumpkin and spices for a perfect Fall ale

Reap the Wild Weizenbock 8.1%

A stronger wheat beer, it's like a hefeweizen but with more wheat flavor and higher ABV

Sours and Seltzers

Ruby Goddess Raspberry Berliner Weisse 3.9%

The Goddess is a light sour German wheat beer, made fruity and delicious by the addition of plenty of raspberry puree

Hoppy Beers

Valley View American Pale Ale 5.5%

A balanced blend of maltiness and Pacific Northwest hops makes this a great beer for people who like hops but don't want it too bitter or too fruit forward.

Darker Beers

Smoke on the Lager Rauchbier 5.2%

A German style brown lager made with smoked malt, this amber beer has a malty, smokey flavor

Campfire Sweet Stout 7.6%

This stout style is made with lactose, which does not get eaten by the yeast, leaving a sweet flavor to balance the stouts roast and coffee flavors. We added chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker for s'more dessert flavor
